Cynthia Church, Chief Strategy Officer
We are headed to San Diego for Reuters Digital Health 2023, held May 16-17, for what the event promotes as “two intensive days of learning, idea sharing, collaborating and networking to help accelerate the transformation that our consumers desire and our care teams deserve.” Three of our client partners – Sara Vaezy, Chief Strategy & Digital Officer for Providence, Kelly Jo Golson, EVP, Chief Brand, Communications & Consumer Experience Officer with Advocate Health, and Tracy Chu, FACHE, Corporate Vice President of Population Health and ACO Chief Executive for Scripps Health – have been asked to share their valuable insights on topics impacting healthcare organizations and how they deliver care. We couldn’t be more thrilled.
Sara Vaezy will deliver a keynote fireside chat titled “Breaking down the fundamentals for protecting your consumer base in healthcare.” She will discuss the services and benefits to offer for a positive patient experience, understanding healthcare consumers, and creating convenient, accessible care via platforms that allow direct messaging, online scheduling, and virtual encounters.
Kelly Jo Golson joins Edward Lee, MD, EVP, Information Technology and CIO for The Permanente Federation, Eric Smith, Chief Digital Officer of Memorial Hermann, and moderator Jisella Dolan, Chief Global Advocacy Officer of Home Instead, for the session “Achieve maximum patient engagement through connected care.” They will share ways to empower patients to take control of their health outside of the clinical setting, digitally connect patients to their care teams, and increasing patient interactions through personalized patient engagement.
Tracy Chu will share insights as part of the keynote panel “Make the menial mechanical; liberate your staff to spend more time caring for patients.” For this, she joins Paul Testa, CMIO with NYU Langone, Omid Toloui, VP of Innovation of Elevance Health, and moderator Arundhati Parmar, Editor in Chief for MedCity News.
I’m looking forward to attending with our CEO Mike McSherry to learn from healthcare leaders and share insights Xealth has observed from deploying hundreds of digital health programs across our country’s largest health systems.
Xealth helps strengthen provider relationships with our patients and partners – and scales digital health efforts. We facilitate tighter patient connections to the health system, relieve admin pressures on clinical staff, and address gaps in care. All this while taking some of the load off IT teams.
We look forward to the shared learnings that will emerge from these two days!
