What convinced you Xealth is “the Place to Be”?

At Xealth, being a startup gives me a unique sense of ownership—each project feels impactful, especially in an industry with so much potential for technology to improve the lives of both patients and medical staff. As a software engineer, it’s not always easy to feel like your work directly affects people, but here, I can see the difference we’re making. Another big motivator for me is that both my mom and sister are nurses, and working at Xealth has given me a valuable insight into their world, while also offering the opportunity to contribute in a meaningful way.

What has your experience been with our company culture?

Everyone is approachable and always willing to lend a hand. I feel like I always have a resource to turn to and can easily ask questions whenever I need help. Even with the majority of the team working remotely, there’s still a strong sense of connection, and I feel like I know everyone on a personal level.

What have been your biggest accomplishments on our team?

I have been a part of so many big projects over the years and hard to just name a few but here are a couple big hitters!

  • I worked on expanding our internal Configuration Management Tool and service which enabled our team to build use cases faster and deploy them quickly. This allowed our team to test customer use cases right away and then deploy outside of our normal cadence.
  • I also contributed to the development of our API V2, empowering our partners to expand their capabilities and access valuable information, enabling them to achieve great things!

Who are some of your biggest inspirations within the company?

There are so many great people that work at Xealth its hard to just name a few, but some of my old Platform Service teammates Carl and Katya, we had a lot of fun working together and meeting up outside of work as well! Paige and Joel for all the great help working with our Partners and their insight on how we can help them. Also Eric our CTO who is always willing to help and keeps our engineering team running!

What’s the most unique part about working here?

One of the most unique aspects of working here is the opportunity to contribute to a variety of impactful projects, constantly seeking ways to deliver more and better products for our customers. Also the freedom to explore new technologies, combined with a collaborative environment where everyone’s ideas are welcomed, makes it an exciting place to grow and innovate.

How have you grown professionally while on our team?

Over the past five years at Xealth, I’ve had the opportunity to grow significantly, both professionally and technically. I’ve led several impactful projects and currently serve as the tech lead for our API. These experiences have allowed me to take ownership of various aspects of our product and continue to develop my skills in leadership and technical expertise
