Jyoti Yadav, Manager, QA

I’m proud to announce the next employee to be spotlighted is Jyoti!  Jyoti has been with Xealth for 5 years.  In that time, she’s seen our people, processes, and technology grow tremendously.  From the M-team and S-team days to our current feature teams, Jyoti has been instrumental in the overall quality and success of Xealth.  It was due to Jyoti’s breadth of experience, ability to manage multiple projects, and her positive (and delightful) attitude that she was promoted to Manager, QA about a year ago.  Since then she has been instrumental in keeping our product features moving forward, while also enacting change in our overall regression framework.  Jyoti is a really interesting and genuine person, and for those reasons, I’m excited for her to be the next spot-lighted so you can learn more about her!  One fun fact that I will share is that Jyoti interviewed, and personally trained every member of QA (feature QA & COPS QA).

Richard Wang, Chief Product Officer

What convinced you Xealth is “the Place to Be”?

Despite growing up in a family of physicians, I was not convinced to pursue a career in healthcare. However, a family member who is dear to me went through a major health crisis and fully recovered.  During that phase, I met many exceptional healthcare professionals and was impressed by the positive impact these individuals have on the lives of their patients. That was the moment when I made the decision to apply my skills and work in healthcare. During my search for healthcare startups, I had a conversation with Fergal, who was my hiring manager that time, and upon hearing about the work being done by Xealth, I was extremely impressed. Xealth was Founded by a team with a strong background in building and growing multiple companies. For nearly 5 years, I’ve been working with Xealth and we’re all working together to accomplish a common goal of improving healthcare.

What has your experience been with our company culture?

Xealth’s work-life balance is exceptional. Being the mother of an 11 year old and a year old “Luna” my puppy, I have maintained a well-organized schedule between work and family.

The transparent company culture and the flexible working environment have always been my favorite.  People are very supportive, and don’t hesitate to listen to good ideas and make changes. We strive to maintain an open and friendly culture for all. And I feel that I have a positive working relationship with my team members.

What have been your biggest accomplishments on our team?

The most significant accomplishment for me is to consistently deliver projects on time, even during the ups and downs, maintain team morale, and motivate the QA team. The major work we did in the Analytics team was the Glu 4 upgrade and building the Use Case dashboard.

Who are some of your biggest inspirations within the company?

It’s a challenge to pick a few names to mention because there are so many names. I am fortunate to always have a great manager who has faith in their employees and sets them up for success and growth. Rebecca, Rich, Dane, Joel, Alex, Mayank, Mohammed, Caitlin and many others who are no longer with Xealth still hold a special place and respect in my heart.

What’s the most unique part about working here?

I am very proud to have an amazingly diverse team of professionals dedicated to providing remarkable care for our patients and their families. Despite being a small company, we are able to maintain a diverse workforce. My Analytics team is an example of this. Everyone is passionate about the work we do and the patients we serve. I feel valued and allowed to broaden my skill set while still fulfilling my core responsibilities. Xealth was recognized on Newsweek’s 2024 World’s Best Digital Health Companies list. It’s evident that we have been acknowledged for our excellent work in the healthcare space.

How have you grown professionally while on our team?

Professionally, I have made significant progress. I began working with the customer team, particularly Duke and UPMC, and created a significant number of use cases for them with high-quality results. At a later time, I joined the Analytics and Ping team.  This change enabled me to acquire new skills and comprehend the complexity of data while working with the internal team. I supervise the testing of the Xealth feature and work to maintain the team’s stability by providing standard test documentation and regression testing. Being at Xealth gives me the unique opportunity to stay within the team and handle testing, while also managing and mentoring the team. I have gained both sides of experience, from both the customer side and the internal team, and I aim to continue learning every day.
