Xealth, the leader in enabling digital health at scale, today announced that the company won Gold in the 23rd annual Digital Health Awards program in the Web-based Digital Health, Digital Health Curation category for its Digital Command Center. This competition — held each spring and fall — recognizes the world’s best digital health resources.
The Xealth Digital Command Center is the analytics and reporting component of Xealth’s technology platform. Xealth enables health systems to easily aggregate, order, and distribute digital health tools, education and programs using existing IT systems, as well as capture monitoring information back in the EHR. The Digital Command Center houses dashboards enabling administrators to assess the performance of their digital health deployments against productivity, cost of care, access to care and outcomes measures.
The Digital Health Awards program is organized by the Health Information Resource Center (HIRC), a national clearinghouse for professionals who work in consumer health fields. Other well-known HIRC programs include the annual National Health Information Awards(SM), (healthawards.com) which annually recognizes the nation’s best consumer health programs and materials (for non-digital resources), and the annual National Women’s Health & Fitness Day® (fitnessday.com/women).
“There is an abundance of digital tools on the market, making it critical for health systems to have a way to curate and manage these resources,” said Mike McSherry, CEO and co-founder of Xealth. “We are delighted to be recognized by the Digital Health Awards for the work we are doing to advance the meaningful adoption of digital health.”
The Health Information Resource Center competition is held twice yearly, featuring 65 categories in the following entry classifications: Web-based Digital Health; Mobile Digital Health Resources; Personal Digital Health Devices / Wearables; Digital Health Media / Publications; Digital Health — Social Media; and Connected Digital Health. A panel of 53 experts in digital health media served as judges and selected gold, silver, bronze, and merit winners from more than 700 entries.
